- Find a well ventilated spot to work in and cover nearby items with drop cloths to protect them from overspray.
- Using painter’s tape, tape off a section of the glass pitcher.
- Cover the half that you do not want exposed to the coating with a sheet of paper to protect from overspray.
- Apply Peel Coat to the surface. Hold the paint can 20-30cm from the surface. Press the spray button and begin lightly covering the surface in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke.
- The first coat should be applied very light, with 50% coverage. That means that you can still see about half of the glass through your first coat of paint.
- Apply 5-6 light coats, waiting 2-3 minutes between each coat. The more coats applied the easier the coating is to remove.
- Remove the painter’s tape from the surface while the final coat is still wet.
- Once you’re finished, display your custom home décor for everyone to admire. When it’s time for a new colour, simply peel away, clean and recoat.
