- Find a spot outside and cover nearby items with drop cloths or old sheets to protect them from spray mist.
- Wipe off the outside of each glass with denatured alcohol using a lint free cloth.
- Allow the vessels to dry fully.
- Use painter’s tape to tape off the top section of each vase, leaving half of the vase exposed.
- Apply Rust-Oleum® Specialty Gold Glitter Spray Paint or your color choice to the exposed area.
- Hold the paint can 12-14” from the surface. Press the spray button and begin covering the surface in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke.
- Apply 2 or more medium coats at a moderate speed. For best results, apply multiple light coats versus one heavy coat.
- Allow to dry overnight.
- Once dry, tape off half of the gold glittered area with painter’s tape and spray over the gold area with the silver glitter, covering some of the gold for an ombre effect.
- Allow to dry overnight.
- Once dry, apply the Rust-Oleum® Specialty Glitter Clear Sealer to the vase.
- Allow to dry 2-4 hours.
- Once dry, fill your centerpieces with either candles or flowers to impress your guests all holiday season long.
