  1. You'll be using spray paint for this project, so move the entire siedboard outside if at all possible. Use drop cloths or old sheets to protect the ground or nearby items from spray mist.
  2. Remove drawer pulls and set aside. Lightly sand entire piece to rough up the surface. Wipe clean with damp cloths.
  3. If the original finish is dark, you're probably going to want to prime it first. Spray the entire piece with one coat of the Rust-Oleum® Ultra Cover 2X Primer Spray and follow dry times on can. (It probably looks better already!)
  4. Once the primer is dry, spray the entire piece with a Rust-Oleu® Ultra Cover 2X Satin paint in a colour of your choice. You may want more than one coat, so be sure to follow the re-coat directions on the spray can. Allow everything to dry for 24 hours before moving to the next step.
  5. This is where it gets a little tricky. Use the small paintbrush to paint the detail white -- freehand. Use the masking tape if you want the added security or if you want to add designs.
  6. Allow the sideboard to dry completely before moving back into the house. It's sure to add a sunny start to anyone's day.
