    • Sandpaper

  1. Choose a well-ventilated area (preferably outside) and cover nearby objects with drop cloths to protect them from spray mist.
  2. If needed, prepare the potential dream house with an all over sanding. Wipe off residue with a damp paper towel and let dry.
  3. If you feel you need a good base coat, apply Rust-Oleum® Painter's® Touch Ultra Cover Brush-On Primer.
  4. Affix masking tape to trim, doors, windows and all other edging that you don’t wish paint with the darker color. Also, we recommend covering the roof with newspaper. Or, if you think you’re a careful painter, don’t bother with this.
  5. Using a small craft brush, paint the main body of the house in your choice of color with Rust-Oleum® Painter's® Touch Multi-Purpose Gloss Brush-On Paint. Follow application tips on half pint. Wait specified time, reapply until desired finish is achieved.
  6. Now remove the masking tape from the trim ever-so-carefully and use a clean, small craft brush to accent the trim with a different color from the Painter's® Touch Multi-Purpose Gloss Brush-On Paint colors. Follow application tips on paint can.
  7. If you really love her, you’ll stencil the windows with Rust-Oleum® Specialty Frosted Glass paint. It’s easy and it’ll give you extra leverage next time the trash needs to be taken out. Follow the application instructions on the can.
  8. Touch up any “boo-boo’s” on the wood surfaces with their corresponding colors.
  9. Look out! We’re pretty sure there’s about to be a stampede of young girlies headed over for one super-deluxe tea party!
  10. (We know you know this, but if you think there are other colors that your little princess would prefer--go ahead then. Do it her way!)
