You take pride in your home; why let your garage drag you down? This metallic polycuramine garage floor coating gives your garage floor a lustrous finish that will stand up against vehicle & foot traffic for a look that lasts.

  1. PREPARE: To prepare your garage floor, first scrub any heavily-soiled areas with a heavy-duty degreaser. Follow the instructions on the degreaser’s label. Once you’ve degreased the entire garage floor, etch it with the Concrete Etch from the Rocksolid Metallic Floor Coating Kit, making sure to follow the included instructions. Rinse the floor thoroughly and let it dry. Then, tape off the edges of the garage floor, where the concrete meets the walls. notE: Because the coating must be applied within 45 minutes of mixing, only mix one polycuramine pouch at a time. If your garage’s surface area requires more than one kit, apply the entire contents of the first kit before mixing the second.
  2. MIX: Roll side A of the Polycuramine pouch toward side B until the middle seal bursts. Then, mix the two components together thoroughly, shaking the bag back and forth for 2-3 minutes. Once the contents of the pouch are completely mixed, cut one corner of the bag and pour the mixture out into a mixing bucket.
  3. METALLIC: Next, pour the metallic tint (Cherry Bomb) into the bucket and combine it with the polycuramine mixture with the included stir stick or a mixer paddle for 2-3 minutes, or until thoroughly mixed.
  4. COAT: Using a paint brush, trim the edges of the garage floor (along the painter’s tape) with the polycuramine mixture. Once the edges are completely trimmed, use your roller (included) to apply the coating to the garage floor in 1.5 x 1.5 m sections. Make sure not to block yourself in while painting. After rolling out each section, use the roller to put circular patterns in the coating (like applying wax to a car) to ensure there are no bare spots. This will give the coating an opaque appearance once the floor is dry. While you’re applying, remember that the polycuramine garage floor coating must be applied within 45 minutes of mixing.
  5. FINISH: If your garage’s surface area requires more than one kit, repeat the above steps with a second kit. Once your garage floor is completely coated, let the floor dry for 8-10 hours for foot traffic (the coating should not be tacky) and 24-36 hours for vehicles. Keep in mind that temperature and humidity may affect drying time. Refer to your kit instructions for more details.
