- Spread old sheets or a drop cloth on the ground outdoors to protect surfaces from drips.
- Rub glassware with a paper towel dipped in rubbing alcohol to remove smudges and dirt.
- Apply strips of painter’s tape around the clean, dry glassware beginning in the middle of the glass and move up to cover the entire top portion.
- Set the glassware upside down on the drop cloth or old sheets.
- Apply the mirror effect spray coating to the exposed parts of the glassware in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke.
- Allow the coat to fully dry, approximately two minutes between coats.
- Repeat steps 5 & 6 at least 2 more times to ensure full coverage, then allow the glassware to dry for at least 24 hours.
- To set the paint, place glassware in a cold oven and heat it to 176°C.
- Turn off the oven after 20 minutes, but leave the glassware inside to slowly cool.
- When the glassware is cool to the touch, it can be used and hand-washed.
