The matt, brushed look of Milk Paint Finish gives an antique look and feel to any décor item. Just brush on in light coats for a durable, long-lasting finish. Highlight the originality of your piece with the subtle matt coats of this beautiful paint.

Step 1: Make sure all items are clean and free of dust, dirt and grime.

Step 2: Over a drop cloth, stir the can of Milk Paint Finish with a stir stick.

Step 3:  Apply a light coat to your surface, brushing in a “V” pattern to achieve a washed look.

Step 4: Apply multiple coats to achieve desired coverage, waiting 30 minutes in between coats.

Step 5: Allow the Milk Paint Finish to dry for approximately 1 hour before handling.

Colour Wash Effect: To create a Colour Wash mix 4 parts water and 1 part desired Milk Paint Finish color. Apply Colour Wash over Milk Paint Finish painted surface using smooth brushstrokes. If necessary, remove excess Colour Wash by wiping the surface with a cloth. Allow to dry 30 minutes. To create a deeper Colour Wash effect, apply a second coat.
