- Find a spot outdoors and cover nearby items with drop cloths or old sheets to protect them from spray mist
- Lightly sand the metal surface of the chandelier to rough it up. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and let dry
- Tape off areas that shouldn't be painted -- like the light sockets -- to protect them from spray mist
- Follow the application directions and dry times listed directly on the can
- When everything is dry, hang this “new” chandelier in your favorite spot.
