All You Need Is Love

 ITEMS NEEDED

• Wooden or Paper Mache Letters (L-O-V-E)
• Supper Glue
• Rust-Oleum 2X White Primer
• Rust-Oleum 2X Gloss Apple Red
• Red Ribbon
• Hot Glue Gun
• Sandpaper
• Old Sheets or Drop Cloth
• Lint Free Cloth

PROJECT STEPS

1. Find a well-ventilated spot to work in and cover nearby items with drop cloths to protect them from paint splatters.
2. Sand each of the letters lightly using sandpaper. Always sand in the direction of the grain.
3. Remove sanding dust by lightly dragging the cloth across the surface.
4. Apply Rust-Oleum 2X White Primer to the surface. Hold the paint can 25-40 cm from the surface. Press the spray button and begin covering the surface in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke.
5. Apply 2 or more light coats a few minutes apart. For best results, apply multiple light coats versus one heavy coat.
6. Apply topcoat after one hour or within 24 hours.
7. Once dry, repeat steps and apply Rust-Oleum 2X Apple Red, to the surface. Allow to dry for 2 hours.
8. Using super glue, glue the letters together side by side.
9. Allow the glue to dry for 1-2 hours.
10. Once dry, glue a pretty ribbon of your choice to the back and hang your project in a special place.
